Geography Awareness Week

Join us in the celebration of national Geography Awareness Week! It came about after Congress recognized the importance of geographic knowledge in an increasingly interdependent world and President Reagan signed the legislation in 1987 implementing it. The week allows the geography department to remind the Hunter community of the influence that geography has played in all parts of our lives and how geography can be incorporated into many fields of study.
