How do I access files on my U drive remotely?
Full-time faculty & staff
Windows XP user:
To protect your personal information, always remember to log off when using a public computer.
Option 1 (Built-in Webclient in IE).
You can access your files on U drive through Internet Explorer
Open IE (Internet Explorer) -->File ---->Open ---Check "Open as Web Folder" and type https://146.95.2.6/aa/username
Without checking "Open as Web Folder", you can't upload files.

Click OK, IE browser will list all your files in U drive (use Copy and Paste for uploading and downloading files).
If you work on your home computer, I suggest setting up certificate and check "Remember my password".
Option 2 (NetDrive Utility).
You also can map your U Drive with NetDrive utility. This software works much better than the built-in WebDav client in IE.
Click here NetDrive to download the software and install it by default. After setup is completed, open NetDrive and follow the screen below to setup your U drive.
Click Connect, your U drive should be created in My Computer.
