The Department of Geography and Environmental Science is proud to announce that the 2022 Anastasia Van Burkalow Award for Distinguished Service goes to Ms. Martha Taylee, our departmental secretary. Ms. Taylee has worked at Hunter College since 1991, initially in Human Resources, and then at the department since 1993. Her dedication to the department has been outstanding and she performed her duties above and beyond her responsibilities. Ms. Taylee is also retiring. She is the most lasting colleague to all of us and we are deeply grateful for her service.

The award will be presented at the 2022 Annual Reception and Awards Presentation on June 1, 3-5pm, at the Faculty Dining Room, 8th floor, Hunter West. Zoom option is also available.
