Lead chapter author of new US governmental climate-related publication

Professor Marcotullio is the lead author in the "Energy Systems" chapter of the Second State of the Carbon Cycle Report (SOCCR-2).  This research is an interagency assessment being led and developed by the Carbon Cycle Interagency Working Group (CCIWG) under the auspices of the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP). SOCCR-2 focuses on U.S. and North American carbon cycle processes, stocks, fluxes, and interactions with global-scale carbon budgets and climate change impacts in managed and unmanaged systems. In addition to leading the Energy Systems chapter, Professor Marcotullio also contributed to several other chapters in the volume. The release date was Friday, 23 November 2018 (see https://www.globalchange.gov/content/about-soccr-2).
