Alejandro Durán is a Mexican-born, New York-based artist, whose work addresses the issue of plastic pollution in the world's oceans. He is the Resident Artist at Hunter College. Leadership support for this work is provided by Hunter's Arts Across the Curriculum initiative sponsored by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
