Dear students and faculty,

Please join us in celebrating Geography Awareness Week that will take place November from November 10th to 16th! We plan several great events, so please stay tuned and reserve Tuesday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 13 to participate. These events will include a lecture, Census data presentation, GIS employment round table, and lightening talks by faculty and students.

Right now, I am asking you to please sign up for participation in lightening talks! It is a short presentation that explains what kind of research project you have been working on – either in a class or with a professor or mentor, or else. Data projector and internet connection will be available.
