DATA AT THE DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY
We are in the process of building a GIS data server to be used by students
for their class projects and theses. Please contact Rita Noorzad (clthelp@geo.hunter.cuny.edu;
Room 1039N) or Dr. Pavlovskaya for more info.
In general, datasets can be found at GIS data server.
The first group of datasets is located at S:\scratch\digital.data.
These are GIS files (mainly shape files) documented by people who contributed
them to the department. Consult the List
of the GIS datasets available at Geography department complied
by Rita Noorzad.
The second location is S:\scratch\dept.data, where data sets
in various formats are stored. Some are documented and some are not.
More information will be available here as things are moving along.
