Dr. Bulley has over 15 years of experience in the application of Geospatial Technologies and machine learning statistical techniques to assess water resource dynamics and water quality issues including nutrient criteria development process.
He is also leading the Geography & Spatial Thinking Across the Curriculum (GeoSTAC) initiative at BMCC to introduce BMCC faculty to employing spatial thinking into the academic curriculum as well as research activities. Dr. Bulley have also been engaged in academic development and mentoring BMCC undergraduate students through research programs such as g CSTEP, BMCC Foundation Fellowship, and CRSP.
Dr. Bulley will spearhead the design and implementation of both the online and in-person survey instruments, as well as water sampling data collection in collaborations and coordination with Dr. Ramasubramanian and Dr. Vollman. Dr. Bulley also have collaboration with Science faculty at BMCC and this has provided access to the Chemistry Lab for water quality analysis. He will also lead the GIS-based analyses of survey data on socio-demographic CUNY campus neighborhoods and water quality sampling data.
