Grading Formula
Your grade will be based entirely on your attendance, weekly presentations, and class participation.

Course Overview and Goals
This is the capstone course for students who are majoring in one of the Options in Social Studies Education offered by the Department of Geography. Focusing on the National Geography Standards (the foundations of the New York State Education Department's geography standards), the course's goals are to review the content and methods of geography, focusing on ways to effectively present them to K-12 students in a grade-appropriate manner.
