This website is a satellite image of the inner NY Bight showing the region around Raritan Bay, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Brooklyn. The image shows detail of the geometry of the spits of Sandy Hook (Monmouth Co., NJ), Rockaway-Breezy Point (Queens, NY), and Coney Island (Brooklyn, NY), as well as the Inner and Outer NY Harbor and Newark Bay. This is an amazing on-line publication full of details about the offshore sea bottom near the continental margin and slope south of the Hudson Canyon area.
