The first Mariam and Saul B. Cohen Prizes for Geographic Excellence were awarded to Elizabeth Suter and Michael Caggiano at an end-of-term party on Wednesday, May 13th. On hand to present the first Cohen Prizes were Miriam and Dr. Saul B. Cohen, benefactors of the Cohen Prize Fund. Also in attendance were faculty members, undergraduate and graduate students, friends of Geography, Chair Joni Seager and Shirley Clay Scott, Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences.
